A sustained rise in snatch thefts and targeted phone grabs has been reported around key CBD bus stops, terminals, and rail stations between 17:00 and 21:00. Incidents concentrate on the first and last 400 metres of commuter routes and alongside 'boda' pickup points.

- 02 Route evening egress away from the Thika Road and Mombasa Road terminal hubs
- 03 Discourage solo evening travel; pair lower-trust commutes
